Remember: We are all in this together. There have been stories over the last week of altercations at re-opening retailers. These are unprecedented times. We are all learning new ways of being and doing. And, so many are suffering. The suffering is for those sick or with sick loved ones and the suffering is for those unable to feed, clothe and shelter themselves and their families.
We must remember that the suffering is wide spread and most severe for those economically impacted.
Please, remember that as much as you are suffering, so others, too, are suffering. When you feel like lashing out at an employee of a newly opened store, stop. Inhale deeply. Control the exhale to bring yourself back to a place of control. Take a moment to acknowledge that this person is just trying to make their way in this new way of living and trying to figure out how to do their job in a way that keeps them and you safe.
